Certificate. The Phlebotomy program is an intensive hybrid 100-hour non-credit healthcare program prepares applicants to sit for certification through the National Center for Competency Testing for Phlebotomy (NCPT) which is accredited through the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). Upon successful completion of the program the graduate is eligible for employment opportunities with various healthcare agencies. The phlebotomist’s primary function is to assist the healthcare team in accurate safe reliable collection and transportation of specimens for clinical laboratory testing..
