About This Program

Prepares individuals to work as a technical/administrative specialist in Health Records Systems. Teaches the components of health information systems consistent with the medical legal accreditation and regulatory requirements of the health care delivery system. Graduates are eligible to write the national accreditation examination of AHIMA for the credential of Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).
