About This Program
The Maritime Structural Welding program is 300 hours in length taught Monday through Thursday for 5 hours each day. Trainees will learn Welding Safety SMAW and FCAW. Trainees will be eligible to pass the entry-level structural welding test at many of the employers on the Gulf Coast. Training locations: Jackson County Campus Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Center (AMTC) West Harrison County Center George County Center and Perkinston Campus. Trainees will have the opportunity to gain AWS D 1.1 and National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) credentials.
