About This Program

The Associate Degree Nursing Program is designed to provide educational opportunities to qualified students for a career that will help meet the expanding health needs of today's society. The program prepares the individual to assume responsibilities of the Registered Nurse qualified to function as a member of health care team in variety of community settings. Graduates receive an Associate in Applied Science Degree and are eligible to take the National Council Licensing Examination for licensure as Registered Nurses. The Associate Degree Nursing program is accredited by the Mississippi Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning and National League for Nursing.
