About This Program
Program name: Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (K-8). This program consists of general education courses major field and related courses and two 18 hour areas of concentration. Students must be admitted to the Teacher Education Program at the beginning of the junior year and student internship before they begin that culminating experience. With 21 hours in a designated content area students are also eligible for licensure in some areas at the middle school and high school levels provided they have no grade below a C in the content areas chosen.
