About This Program

Network Security Technology program prepares individuals to access the security needs of computer and network systems recommended safegard solutions and manaze the implementation and maintenance of security services systems and procedures. Includes instruction in computer architecture programming and systems analysis; networking; telecommunications; cryptography; security system design; applicable law and regulations; risk assessment and policy analysis; contingency planning; user access issues; investigation techniques; and troubleshooting. The Network Security Technology program will utilize the 30-45-60 course sequencing completion method. 30 = Career Certificate / 45 hours = Technical Certificate / 60 hours = AAS degree.
