About This Program

The MedicaL Laboratory Technology Program provides the academic and technical training to allow you to be a vital member of the healthcare team. The medical laboratory technician is a skilled professional performing tests to analyze blood urine and other body fluids to help physicians prevent detect and treat diseases and to monitor therapy. The MLT must be accurate dedicated and skilled. The student will complete twenty-four weeks of didactic instruction and skill development in an affiliated hospital. Upon successful completion of the program the student will be eligible to take a National Certification Examination.
