About This Program

Each level is basically 32 weeks and is offered once a year beginning in the fall at a rate of $675.00 for each Level. The level 1 program includes CORE (NCCER prerequisite course for all trades) Students may complete one or more levels as desired unless enrolled in the apprenticeship program in which all four levels must be completed. Classes are taught at the MS Construction Education Foundation Training Centers located throughout the state including in-company programs – For additional information on registration and classes go to www.mcef.net and click on “Education & Training” then “Apprenticeship” or call MCEF at 601-605-2989.All programs meet or exceed the requirements of a 4 Year apprenticeship programs and are taught by industry professionals with journeyman or master level experience in the trade. Lv1 Orientation to the Trade Heavy Equipment Safety Identification of Heavy Equipment Basic Operational Techniques Utility Tractors Introduction to Earth Moving and Grades-Part One.Lv 2 On-road Dump Trucks Scrapers Loaders Rough Terrain Forklifts Excavation Math Interpreting Civil Drawings Site Work Skid Steers and SoilsLV3 Finishing and Grading Compaction Equipment Backhoes Off-Road Dump Trucks Dozers Excavators and Motor Graders.

Credential

NCCER Certificate and online Transcript for each level completed.
