About This Program

The goals of this program are to prepare individuals to work as technical specialists in health care systems with the ability to organize analyze and evaluate medical records and compile medical care and census data for reports on types of diseases treated surgery done and rate of hospital bed use. Individuals must also be knowledgeable of coding system regulations and changes made of official agencies that affect coding information.
