About This Program

MI-BEST Basic Essential Skills. The MI-BEST program is designed to prepare students to enter into a skill self-sustaining job. Students will earn college credit while industry-specific and industry recognized credentials and certifications. Students will begin the program with a computer literacy course and a course dedicated to personal and professional development. During the 2nd 8 weeks of the program students be prepared to earn the college credit and national certifications in the Business and Office Technology Carpentry Commercial Truck Driving Diesel Equipment Technology Nursing and Welding fields. $10.00 per hour.
