About This Program
Certificate. The ECG Technician is 48-hour non-credit hybrid healthcare program will prepare you to become an ECG technician which involves monitoring and recording electrical impulses transmitted by the heart. The course prepares applicants to sit for certification through the National Center for Competency Testing for ECG Technicians (NCET) which is accredited through the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). This course includes important practice and background information on the anatomy and physiology of the heart medical disease processes medical terminology medical ethics legal aspects of patient contact electrocardiography and stress testing.
