About This Program

MI-BEST Basic Essential SkillsThe MI-BEST program is designed to prepare students to enter into a skilled self-sustaining job. Students will earn college credit while industry-specific and industry-recognized credentials and certifications. Students will begin the program with a computer literacy course and a course dedicated to personal and professional development. During the 2nd 8 weeks of the program students be prepared to earn the college credit and national certifications in the construction and manufacturing hospitality and tourism health sciences or information technology fields.
